When creating an event post, you can provide users one of three methods to register for an event:
1. On-Site Registration
You can allow users to register directly on the website for an event. To do this, you would want to create a new form for each event. Using a form specific to each event, as opposed to using one form for every event, is advantageous because you can customize the form to collect whatever registration information you would like specific to that event. Also, this allow managing and exporting registrations easier since all entries for an event would be contained within a single form. First, create the registration form in Gravity Forms.
Then, select “RSVP Form” under the registration options when creating or editing an event and select the form from the list.
2. Third-Party Registration
Users can register with a third-party too. Simply select “Third Party Site” under the registration options when creating or editing an event. Then enter the URL of the third-party registration page.
3. No registration
Sometime users will not be required to register for an event. To do this, just select “None – Registration not required for this event” under the registration options when creating or editing an event.
