Cincinnati dentist installed as Ohio Dental Association secretary
Dr. David Vorherr of Cincinnati was installed as secretary of the Ohio Dental Association on Sept. 26 during the ODA’s House of Delegates meeting.
In his role as secretary, Vorherr will serve on the ODA’s Executive Committee overseeing the management of the association throughout the next year.
Vorherr is a general dentist in practice in Cincinnati. He earned his DDS degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
He is the current chair of the ODA Finance Committee and current member of the ADA Council on Dental Benefit Programs. He is a former member of the ODA Council on Dental Care Programs and Dental Practice and past president of the Keely Dental Society. He is a fellow of the International College of Dentists and is a former member of the Ohio Dentist Loan Repayment Program Advisory Board.
The Ohio Dental Association represents more than 5,000 member dentists, nearly 70% of the state’s licensed dentists. ODA member dentists provide more than $40 million in donated care and services annually, and they are bound by the highest ethical standards and have access to superior ongoing education, training and resources.
