2025 Awards of Excellence Winners
The ODA’s Awards of Excellence program recognizes those who offer distinguished service to dentistry and improve oral health care by offering treatment, outreach or education.
CALLAHAN MEMORIAL AWARD: DR. SERHIY RADLINSKYDr. Serhiy Radlinsky is a dentist in Ukraine who is working to bring dental care to people in need who have been affected by the war. In recognition of his efforts, he will receive the 2025 Ohio Dental Association Callahan Memorial Award on Friday, Sept. 26 at the Callahan Celebration of Excellence, held in conjunction with the 159th ODA Annual Session.

MATTHEW MESSINADr. Matthew Messina is committed to advancing the dental profession through his leadership in organized dentistry and dedication to educating the next generation of dental students. For his efforts, he will receive the 2025 Ohio Dental Association Joseph P. Crowley Distinguished Dentist Award on Friday, Sept. 26 at the Callahan Celebration of Excellence, held in conjunction with the 159th ODA Annual Session.

ACCESS TO DENTAL CARE PROGRAM AWARD: THE REMOTE AREA MEDICAL (RAM) COLUMBUS EVENTThe Remote Area Medical (RAM) event held in Columbus was a collaborative effort between the Columbus Dental Society and The Ohio State University College of Dentistry to provide dental care at no cost to patients. The event will receive the 2025 Ohio Dental Association Access to Dental Care Program Award on Friday, Sept. 26 at the Callahan Celebration of Excellence, held in conjunction with the 159th ODA Annual Session.
