Registration Information

Choose From Three Ways To Register

Registration and a name badge are required to participate in all on-site Annual Session activities.

Please only register once – do not mail your registration if you have already faxed it or registered online.  Mail registrations must be postmarked by August 31. Faxed registrations with credit card payments will be accepted through September 1.  Online registration is available through the close of Annual Session.

PRE-REGISTRATION

To be eligible for reduced registration fees, your registration form and payment must be postmarked by August 8.  Registration confirmations will be distributed to each attendee who preregisters.  Pre-registration is advised – not only will it save you money, but you will also avoid standing in line on-site and the risk of being closed out of popular CE programs!

STUDENT PARTICIPATION

Proof of student status (submit copy of student ID or ASDA membership number) is required for all student-status registrations, including dental students, dental residents, dental assisting students and dental hygiene students.

Dental students pay no registration fee and may attend any CE lecture course at no cost, space permitting.  Posted fees for hands-on courses apply.  There is also a special, free event just for students, residents and new dentists that dental students can register for, E94.

Dental residents who are ADA members pay no registration fee and may attend any CE lecture course at no cost, space permitting.  Posted fees for hands-on courses apply.  Dental residents who are not ADA members will be charged posted non-member fees or can join the ADA for free in 2025. There is also a special, free event that dental residents can register for, see Event Code E94.

Dental hygiene and post-secondary dental assisting classes are not charged a registration fee if attending Annual Session as a group.   Every group of five students must be accompanied by an instructor or appropriate chaperone while in the Exhibit Hall.  The pre-registration fee for post-secondary student dental assistants attending individually is $5, and increases to $15 on-site.   Hygiene and assisting instructors, or students registering individually can call the ODA to register or for additional information at (614) 486-2700 or (800) 282-1526.

DISCOUNT FOR NEW DENTISTS

ODA Members who have been practicing for 10 years or less will receive a one-time $50 discount on any paid CE course added to their registration.  The discount is applied to the first $50 spent, and information provided by each attendee is matched with ODA membership records to validate the discount.

EXHIBITS ONLY PASS

The ODA will offer an Exhibits Only Pass. On Thursday or Friday, any ADA member dentist can register for $35 and non-member dentists can register for $75 prior to the pre-registration deadline.  The regular and on-site fee is $45 and $95, respectively. On Saturday, any dentist or staff member can register for free.

The Exhibits Only Pass is good for one day only and does not include any advantage of other registration categories. Registrants in this category may not register for any CE courses – free or paid, live or online – cannot attend the Table Clinics, Related Programs, or receive any other benefit included with other Annual Session registration categories and fees. Exhibits Only passes will not be mailed and must be picked up at the on-site registration desk on the specific day of the pass.

RETIRED LIFE MEMBER REGISTRATION

ODA members in the Retired Life category do not pay a registration fee if registered before the pre-registration deadline.  A discounted $62 registration fee applies after the pre-registration deadline.  Dentists in this category may audit any CE lecture course at no charge, space permitting; to receive CE credit for the course, the member must pay the posted course fee.

SPOUSE REGISTRATION

Spouses of ADA member dentists who do not work in the dental office may register for free.

MEMBERSHIP OFFER

Non-member dentists may apply a portion of the registration fee toward 2026 ODA membership dues. To take advantage of this offer, contact the ODA membership department at (614) 486-2700 or membership@oda.org.

CANCELLATION POLICY

For a cancellation refund, written requests must be received by the ODA no later than September 1, 2025.  A $20 service fee will apply for each cancellation.  Course fees for workshops will not be refunded after the September 1 cancellation date.  All refunds will be processed two to four weeks after the 2025 Annual Session. Refunds will be made via the same method of payment, when possible.  The Ohio Dental Association reserves the right to cancel or reschedule Annual Session due to unforeseen circumstances.  Registrants will be notified.
