OHIO DENTIST RECEIVES ADA 10 UNDER 10 AWARD
Dr. Yi-Chu Wu, a periodontist in Columbus received an American Dental Association 10 under 10 award.
Developed by the ADA New Dentist Committee in 2017, this award recognizes 10 amazing dentists who graduated from a dental school accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation less than 10 years ago. It celebrates dentists who demonstrate excellence and inspire others in science, research and education, practice excellence, philanthropy, leadership and advocacy.
Wu is a graduate of Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in 2022, where she received a master’s degree and a certificate in periodontology. Prior to that, she earned a dental degree from Taipei Medical University in 2017 and completed a General Practice Residency program at Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan. She is also a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a full-time faculty member at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry.
She has served on committees at the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation, Ohio Dental Association and Columbus Dental Society. She currently serves on the ODA Subcouncil on New Dentists, Leadership Development Committee and as a delegate to the ODA House of Delegates.
