Don’t be an island

Editor’s Note: Dr. Elizabeth Mueller, a pediatric dentist in Cincinnati, is the ODA Annual Session 2018 general chairman. Throughout the year, she will be sharing details on some of her favorite CE programs being offered during the ODA’s 152nd Annual Session, Sept. 13-16, 2018 in Columbus. Here is her fifth installment.

One of the greatest membership benefits is your access to the ODA’s Annual Session. It is at the Annual Session that you can solve all of your practice problems. If you need to learn how to market your practice, we have all the classes that you could want. Need to figure out how to incorporate infants and toddlers into your practice, we have a class for that. Need to get more sophisticated with your QuickBooks software, we’ve got a course for that. Have you figured out how to be the clinical, financial and spiritual leader of your dental team? Or would you benefit with one of our seminars on leadership from Drs. Roger Levin and Howard Farran?

If you’ve got holes in what you know, start plugging them here, in Columbus, in September. Already scheduled on Thursday and Friday? We have outstanding classes on Saturday and Sunday. If your education budget is a little lean this year, we have many free and value priced classes for the whole dental team. Don’t want to stay overnight? Columbus is any easy drive from all parts of the state. Just come for the day!

In my job scouting other meetings and planning this year’s Annual Session, I have been able to attend many dental meetings. Ours is the most convenient, navigable, economical and educational value in dentistry.

AND IT IS PART OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP BENEFIT.

A benefit only you can make the most of. We can build a fantastic program, gather great vendors, assemble a great governing body, and have a great party. But all that will be lost on you if you don’t make an effort to participate in Ohio Dental Association Annual Session, September 13-16, 2018, and all it has to offer.
