Beachwood dentist installed as Ohio Dental Association immediate past president

Dr. Thomas Kelly of Beachwood was installed as immediate past president of the Ohio Dental Association on Sept. 16 during the ODA’s House of Delegates meeting.

In his role as immediate past president, Kelly will serve on the ODA’s Executive Committee overseeing the management of the association throughout the next year.

Kelly is a general dentist in private practice in Beachwood. He earned his BS degree from St. Lawrence University and his DDS degree from Case Western Reserve University.

He is a past president of the Greater Cleveland Dental Society, past chair of the ADA’s Council on Membership, past chair of the ODA’s Council on Membership Services, past chair of the ODA’s Finance Committee. He is a member of the International College of Dentists and American College of Dentists.

The Ohio Dental Association represents more than 5,000 member dentists, nearly 70% of the state’s licensed dentists. ODA member dentists provide more than $40 million in donated care and services annually, and they are bound by the highest ethical standards and have access to superior ongoing education, training and resources.
