The Ohio Dental Association provides a range of public service and consumer-oriented programs that are geared towards improving the oral health of Ohioans. The ODA is also Ohio’s resource for oral health information to help the public understand the importance of oral health, and that having good oral health can contribute to good overall health.
Direct Reimbursement
Direct Reimbursement is a quality dental benefit plan. Employers benefit from Direct Reimbursement through its simplicity and cost-effectiveness, and employees benefit through the freedom to choose any dentist for treatment.
Give Kids a Smile Day
The ODA and its members are actively involved in this annual event, benefiting children in need across Ohio.
Low Income OPTIONS
Dental OPTIONS is a joint program of the ODA and the Ohio Dept. of Health, and helps link needy Ohioans with dental care throughout the state. This program primarily serves adults.

Operation TACTIC
TACTIC is a participation program that educates youth and adults about the dangers of smokeless tobacco.
Smiles for Seniors
An oral health initiative of the Ohio Dental Association, this program is designed specifically to educate caregivers and health professionals about the unique oral health issues facing older adults.
