The ODA participates in numerous special events, many geared to the oral health of children. One of the biggest annual events to help Ohio children, is Give Kids A Smile Day (GKAS).

Registration online for the 2010 GKAS opens October 1, 2009. For additional information on Give Kids A Smile Day in Ohio, contact the ODA Department of Public Service.

ODA members reach out to thousands of children in 2009.

This information is used collectively to report the value of services and programs provided by the Ohio dental community to media, legislators and other such groups. The form also includes a place to record the estimated value of additional services that may be offered to children diagnosed in need of dental care for services after the GKAS event.
