The ODA participates in numerous special events, many geared to the oral health of children.
One of the biggest annual events to help Ohio children, is Give Kids A Smile Day (GKAS).

This information is used collectively to report the value of services and programs provided by the Ohio dental community to media, legislators and other such groups. The form also includes a place to record the estimated value of additional services that may be offered to children diagnosed in need of dental care for services after the GKAS event.
