Community Involvement
The Ohio Dentist Loan Repayment Program works to improve oral health in dental health resource shortage areas.
This program places new dentists in areas of Ohio that are underserved by dentists or have other challenges to dental care access. The new dentist agrees to provide dental services for Medicaid eligible patients and to provide care without regard to the patient’s ability to pay. In return, the new dentist receives repayment of all or part of their dental student loans.
