Now that you know the basics of wine tasting, join the staff of the Grapes of Mirth and some of Columbus’ premier chefs for a remarkable evening of great food and spectacular wines. The evening will begin with food stations featuring wines from throughout the world. Blind tastings and presentations by area Sommeliers will be followed by a selection of complimenting desserts and wines to complete an unforgettable evening. The event will take place in the historic North Market, located within walking distance of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

Bring your spouse and staff and join the celebration to honor Dr. Fields and 2008 Callahan Memorial Award recipient Dr. Roy Page at the Callahan Celebration of Excellence. The event includes the presentation of the Callahan Memorial Award and the ODA Awards of Excellence. Established in 1920, the Callahan Award is an international honor named for Dr. John Ross Callahan that recognizes outstanding contributions to dentistry. The ODA Awards of Excellence recognize Ohio dentists and others who have made exemplary efforts on behalf of the profession. The awards include the presentation of the ODA’s highest honor, the Distinguished Dentist Award, presented to Dr. Dennis A. Burns. Black-tie optional. Open-bar reception at 7:00 p.m. Program begins approximately 7:45 p.m. Cost includes exceptional dinner and after-dinner dancing with the John Schwab Band.

Marvel at the breathtaking spectacle of The Lion King on stage at the historic Ohio Theatre in downtown Columbus. A Tony and Olivier Award-winning Broadway musical, The Lion King is based on the 1994 Disney animated film of the same name and features actors in animal costumes in addition to giant, hollow puppets. Tickets are limited and located in the premiere center seating area of the Loge. Transportation is not provided.
